Major Look Boston

Our newest addition to the coveted MLB Hall of Fame--the Weymouth High School snapback!!This was part of possibly the coolest collection we've put out, based off the backstory...

We worked alongside Weymouth High School seniors, Kevin Griffin and Troy Whalen, on their junior/senior capstone project.  We graduated from WHS in 2009, and since then the school has gone through some structural changes, where students must chose a certain academy they would like to enroll in, similar to how college students chose majors.  Kevin was in the fine arts academy and Troy part of the business academy--similar to me and Curt in college!!  In order to graduate, each student must complete a capstone project relating to their respective academy--the project extends from junior to midway through their senior year.

Kevin and Troy decided to do their project together and worked with us to find out the best ways to market a street wear brand to high school aged kids.  We made a run of these circle snapbacks as well as a maroon/gold logo t-shirt and a super fan t-shirt for the basketball team, whom we sponsored at the time (shoutout to former HC Jim Dolan).  The collection was sold entirely in the Wildcat Den (aka the school store)--the first retail location we've ever placed our products in!!  We're pretty selective as to where we want to place our product, so this was a pretty cool start!

This piece is inspired by the Game college series. Also known as "the circle hat" back in the day, this particular design was used for EVERY major sports team and university... and honestly, high school in Weymouth is like a mini college experience these days. We thought it was only right to produce their very own "circle hat".

While the project was targeted towards high school students, we had to save a few pieces for our fellow WHS alumni.  Quick shoutout to WHS legend Dave Harrison for scooping the last hat!  Dave just so happens to have graduated in the same class as Troy and Kevin--a perfect person to get the last hat before it's induction into the Hall of Fame.
